So, one Week to go. One, 1, Uno, only a few days. So, what have we been doing? Besides frantic packing and trying to figure out what we should buy in Canada and ship with us on the plane, and what we can most likely find in country, we have had a few chances to get out.
So, we decided to go to the mountains, but it rained. Enough that when we asked Kyler what he thought, he said it is raining pretty hard. This is coming from a guy that doesn't mind sleeping on a 3 foot wide ledge half way up a mountain. Then, a few days later, Bonnies master plan of a bake sale happened. Let me tell you, either there is a lot of money to be made in baking, or our church community really loves us.
Sarahs Granpie also came out from Vancouver to see us and see Amaya. He may be 88, but he sure can still give a strong hug. I guess thats what they teach you in the Navy. But even a WWII veteran will start going goochigooogooo if you put a great grand daughter in front of him for the first time. It was a really special time. Well, i guess it did get "sweet" at the end. and maybe not so short.
